‘Naturally New England’ fundraiser will support land preservation

SUNAPEE — Celebrating the natural beauty of New England’s landscape, buildings and wildlife creates the theme to gather the most talented artists from New Hampshire and Vermont for an fundraiser exhibition and sale of art to help land preservation.

The “Naturally New England” exhibit, a fundraiser in support of the Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust and The Center For The Arts – Lake Sunapee Region, will open at 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 27 and will run through Aug. 5. More than 25 artists have been selected to display their diverse and creative work of the New Hampshire and Vermont region at The Livery, an historic building featuring a beautiful display gallery at 58 Main Street in Sunapee Harbor. Artists will generously donate a percentage of their sales to the ASLPT and the CFA.

“We are so fortunate to be surrounded by such natural beauty all year-round,” said Sharon Parsons, chair of The Livery. “It is wonderful to see such talent from artists throughout New Hampshire and Vermont who have been inspired by their surroundings. What an honor to see participation from artists such as Gary Milek, Tom Pirozzolli, Gwen Nagel, Vicki Koron and others – it’s an outstanding show!”

The exhibition is free and open to the public 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, July 27; 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. July 28; 11 a.m.-7 p.m. July 29; 2-6 p.m. July 30 – Aug. 2; 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 3; and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 4 and 5.
