CLAREMONT — The United Methodist Action Reach-out Mission by youth (U.M.Army) will be coming again to the Sullivan County area, including to Claremont, for their fourth year. The group has plans to help work in the Claremont community from July 15 to July 20.
Organizers with the First United Methodist Church have scheduled more than 20 jobs to be completed, with a community project for the City of Claremont in the works.
First United Methodist is once again hosting the group, with the help of the Claremont Parks and Recreation Department helping with shower facilities and Stevens High School assisting with sleeping arrangements.
The United Methodist Church is looking to the community to spread the word that these amazing youth and adults will be in the city during that week, and to welcome them when they see them, organizers said.
