WINDSOR, Vt. — The Green Mountain Music Festival will take place from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 15 at Bob’s Place in Windsor, to benefit the Windsor High School Music Department.
A talented array of original artists will perform at Bob’s Place, a must-see venue in Windsor, the birthplace of Vermont.
Bucky Lewis of Wicked Yankee TV will perform and emcee this event, which will include Bow Thayer, a nationally known singer / songwriter; Ariel Zevon, who just completed a beautiful CD with Kristina Stykos and joined on percussion by Linda Warnaar; the immensely talented Mejier Bros., B-Riddmiz and guests who have played alongside Dave Matthews; Lori Oz, a gifted singer and writer
from Calais, Vermont; The Brothers Davis, a mainstay in the Vermont scene; and the karmic superb team of Maiden Voyage, all according to organizers.
James Ehlers, candidate for Vermont governor, will be there to say a few words. Tickets are $10 and the first 100 are eligible for a raffle of local goods. The event is BYOB, and food will be available.
