Interesting items sought for VAULT’s ‘Artful Flea’

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Gallery at the VAULT’s “Artful Flea” will return on Aug. 11 as a fun part of Springfield’s Sidewalk Sale.

Do you have artful finds or finds that can be used artfully? Perhaps items to regift, artist or craft supplies, jewelry, any objects that you no longer use but others may desire? If so, it may be time to move things along that are looking for a new home. The Gallery at the VAULT’s storage space is limited, and not able to take large items; no electronics, please.

Artful Flea benefits VAULT programs, which include exhibits and workshops for students and adults. VAULT, a Vermont State Craft Center, sells the work of 160 artists and is delighted to be next door to the new Copper Fox Restaurant and part of Springfield’s historic downtown, in a 1907 bank, according to a press release from VAULT.

Items may be brought to Gallery at the VAULT on 68 Main St. in Springfield, open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, see www.galleryvault.org or call (802) 885-7111.
