‘Nurse is In’ clinics will offer blood pressure and foot care

CHARLESTOWN — A wellness nurse from Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services will be available at the following ‘Nurse Is In’ clinics where individuals can have their blood pressure checked and ask health questions.

No appointment is necessary, and the service is provided free of charge to residents of all ages.

The following clinics will be available: 11:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Aug. 1 at the Charlestown Senior Center; 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Aug. 23 at the Alstead Fire Station; and 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at St. Peter’s Church in North Walpole.

Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services is also offering a foot care clinic from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at the Charlestown Senior Center to residents of all area towns. A nurse will be on hand to offer basic foot care.

There is a $25 charge for foot care services. Appointments are necessary, and can be made by calling (603) 352-2253.
