CAVENDISH, Vt. — The Town of Cavendish invites everyone to a relaxing evening of music and fun on the Proctorsville Green on Wednesday, Aug. 8, starting at 6 p.m. when the annual summer music series continues with Jason Cann.
Cann is a singer-songwriter who lives in Hartland, and has long played in the upper valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. He mixes many original songs with standby covers for a terrific evening of music.
This will be the fifth concert in this summer’s series that are held on consecutive Wednesday nights in July and August.
The Proctorsville Green has hosted these mid-week concerts for more than 10 years. The coordinators encourage all area residents and visitors to join their friends and neighbors in front of the gazebo on the green. Bring a blanket or a comfortable chair, have a picnic, or just lie back and relax on the grass to enjoy the summer weather and either reconnect with old friends or make new ones. Okemo Mountain Resort is sponsoring this concert.
As always, the concerts are free and open to the public. In case of inclement weather, check the Cavendish Facebook page. For more information, call Robin at (802) 226-7736.
