MSA seeks artists for community art show

SAXTONS RIVER, Vt. —Main Street Arts Gallery offers an opportunity for local artists to display their work in a beautiful setting, and in an environment that supports the arts. The show is scheduled for Aug. 16 through Sept. 28 with an artist reception on Aug. 24 at Main Street Arts at 35 Main St. in Saxtons River.

MSA looks forward to bringing together circles of people in a synergistic way to create an exciting exhibit. Artists of all ages and levels of experience are encouraged to submit work for this non-juried show. The exhibit is for the local artist community, defined as within a 30-mile radius of Saxtons River, Vermont. All types of media are encouraged, which includes paint, photography, collage, fiber art, pottery, mix-media, sculpture, and film.

Main Street Arts is a 501c(3) nonprofit which endeavors to provide the community unique opportunities in the arts. The building is accessible to all. They offer the public opportunities to attend theatrical and musical performances, hear from artists and performers, develop a new creative talent, or participate in exciting community projects. Volunteers are welcomed for events.
