BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — Village Square Booksellers in Bellows Falls will host a Plus-Plus Mini Block Contest at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3. Plus-Plus is one shape with endless possibility, designed and made in Denmark for open-ended play. Younger children can build 2-D mosaics and older children can create 3-D masterpieces. Anything a child can imagine, they can build. Contestants will have 100 pieces and one half hour to build their own creation and there will be first, second and third prizes given out.
The store will also have its annual Rockingham Old Home Days Sidewalk Sale on Friday Aug. 3 and Saturday, Aug. 4, in conjunction with the weekend celebration.
On Saturday, the Rockingham Town Democratic Committee will have a voter registration table outside the bookstore from 11:30 a.m. to 1p.m.. Primary elections are Aug. 14.
From 1 to 4 p.m., players of Magic The Gathering can gather in the activity room in the basement of the store. Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon may also be included. for more information, call (802) 463-9404 for more information.
