WESTMINSTER and SAXTONS RIVER, Vt. — The Vermont State Police are seeking information in an ongoing string of burglaries from local unlocked vehicles.
The VSP began receiving several reports at about 7 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 of thefts from unlocked motor vehicles in the Westminster, Saxtons River and Londonderry area.
The thefts appear to have occurred between 2 a.m. and 3 p.m. that day, affecting multiple victims, according to police. Several other thefts from unlocked vehicles have also been reported earlier this week in the region.
Vermont State Police, Westminster Barracks are requesting information from the public related to these thefts, which are considered larceny from a motor vehicle.
The Vermont State Police would also like to remind the public to ensure that everyone locks their vehicles, and to not leave anything of significant value in their vehicles.
