SHELBURNE, Vt. — Bonnie L. Blake, formally of Weathersfield, Vermont, passed away July 2, 2018. She was born April 20, 1948 in Springfield, Vermont and was the daughter of the late Urban M. She spent most of her career employed by TD Bank Bellows Falls and retired as Vice President.
She was an active member in her community and enjoyed the work she did as a member of the Springfield Garden Club. She loved her travels to Maine and particularly enjoyed time spent during the summers in York Beach strolling Long Sands. Golf and shopping were additional favorite past times. She loved the Christmas holiday and spreading that joy to others. She always cherished time spent with her friends. Bonnie would always take the extra time going above and beyond helping her customers at the bank and enjoyed catching up with each of them. Her greatest joy in life was the moments spent with her two grandchildren; reading to them, coloring with them or taking part in their interests.
She is survived by her brother Bernard Harvey and stepbrother Richard King; her daughter Tanya Jones and her husband Chris, and her grandchildren Brady and Hannah.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018 at The Inn at Weathersfield, 1342 VT Route 106, Perkinsville from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
