SAXTONS RIVER, Vt. — The Vermont State Police are seeking information from the public on a string of multiple thefts in the Saxtons River and Putney.
The petit larceny took place during the night of Wednesday, July 18 and into the morning hours of July 19, according to the Vermont State Police, which responded to “numerous theft complaints” in the village of Saxtons River and the town of Putney. The thefts involved an unknown subject(s) entering unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours and stealing loose change and personal items, all according to police.
