To the editor,
For a political junkie like me, it’s exciting that my House of Representatives district overlaps both New Hampshire Congressional Districts. One of my four towns is Atkinson, which is the second district.
My wife, Dr. Mary Pearson, and I co-founded and run New Creation Healing Center in Kingston, a non-profit facility which combines family practice medicine, counseling and massage. We invited candidates for Congress to come visit us. We gave them our view of what could be done to reform medical care. We listened to their thoughts on this and other topics. And we especially tried to get a read on how genuine each person was.
We enthusiastically recommend Steve Negron for Congress in Congressional District 2.
I’ve had the added benefit of serving in the New Hampshire Legislature with Steve. Almost anyone can look good at the debates. Skilled marketing companies can craft excellent mailers. But when you watch someone day in and day out, when you watch how someone interacts with people in all kinds of situations, and when you watch when that person doesn’t think you’re watching, you discover whether the facade is the reality or not.
Over the last two years it became obvious to me that Steve Negron is for real. He rings true. He’s smart. And especially, he cares.
I hope people all across the second Congressional District will vote for Steve Negron in the Sept. 11 primary.
