LUDLOW, Vt. — The Ludlow Fire Department will holding its 40th annual benefit Auction and Tag Sale on Saturday Sept. 1, rain or shine, at the fire station.
The Tag Sale starts at 8:30 a.m., and the auction starts at 8:45 a.m. The event will include new and slightly used items along with antiques, dry split firewood, ski equipment and other items, and gift certificates from local businesses. All are welcome to come and spend the day.
The LFD will have soda, water, hamburgs, hot dogs, and sausages with onions and peppers, available all day long. The auction will last all day until items are gone.
All of the proceeds from this annual event will go to purchase new fire equipment the town might not be able to afford. The Auction and the Tag Sale brings in approx. $50,000 to $55,000 each year, organizers said.
