CORNISH — Two Claremonters, Noah Abbott and Taelor MacDonald, got to rule the three-day Cornish Fair last weekend after being selected as King and Queen on Friday evening.
First runner-up and talent winner in the queen competition was Azalea Hudson of Claremont. Ainsley Bertone of Springfield, Vt., was the Congeniality winner with Skye Robicheau of Plainfield placing second.
Other queen contestants were Mercedes Garrow of Windsor; Maya Small, Lebanon; Clara Posner, Cornish Flat, and Samantha Erskine, Windsor.
Cornish Fair Prince was Caleb Hopps of Sutton; first runner-up was Holden Tallman, Claremont and second runner-up honors went to Lucian Smith, Charlestown.
Ashlynn Smith of Charlestown was the 2018 Cornish Fair Princess. First runner-up was Fallon Meyer, West Lebanon. Emerson Thibeault of Claremont was second runner-up.
Other Princess participants were Taylor Davis, Newport; Haley Davis, Newport; Hazel Leeper, Cornish; Samara Leeper, Cornish; Lilah Leeper, Cornish; Sadie Sartwell, Cornish; Hailey Dewey, Lempster; Madeline Dehir, Charlestown and Jerusalyn Dodge, Charlestown.
