NEW LONDON – The Center for The Arts Lake Sunapee Region presents First Friday Gallery Night and opening receptions for their three MicroGalleries, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7.
Stroll the three CFA MicroGalleries, meet the artists and enjoy some refreshments. The New London Inn will feature the contemporary oil painting of Katie Runde, Bar Harbor Bank and Trust on Main Street will be showing the bold palette work of Patty Fazio, and Whipple Hall will have Sasha Wolfe’s charcoal and pastel and the photography of James Mudie. These CFA exhibits will be on display through Oct. 28 during regular business hours.
Joining the CFA galleries for this First Friday will be New London Hospital, with an artist reception in the main lobby from 5 to 7 p.m. Also, Emil Nelson Gallery and Annex on Main Street directly across from Whipple Hall will feature their show “Landscapes–Real & Imagined.” Be sure to stop by Prospect Hill Antiques & Art Gallery, just a short drive to 247 Prospect Hill Road, Georges Mills.
All First Friday events are free and open to the public.
The Center for The Arts is a volunteer organization that hosts a series of free arts programs on the first Friday of each month in the Lake Sunapee Region.
