ASCUTNEY, Vt. — Police have arrested a 21-year-old from Ascutney on suspicion of being a fugitive from justice and for suspected possession of heroin.
The Vermont State Police responded at approximately 11:26 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22 to Windsor Motel in Ascutney to locate and arrest Honestie Hensley, 21, of Ascutney, Vermont, on an arrest warrant out of North Carolina for drug charges and for allegedly violating probation, all according to a press release from VSP.
Hensley was located and transported back to the VSP Westminster Barracks for processing.
Located on Hensley’s person was approximately 1.9 grams of Fentanyl, all according to police. Hensley was processed and issued a citation on the suspected offenses of being a fugitive from justice and of alleged possession of heroin.
She was transported to and lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility with bail set at $75,000.
Hensley was scheduled to make a court appearance on Thursday, Aug. 23 in Windsor County to face the charges.
