A good Cornish Fair

To The editor,

Once again I’d like to thank the Cornish Fair Committee for hosting yet another good fair.

Although Mother Nature didn’t want to settle down and kept throwing curve balls, the people who (like myself) attend no matter what the sky is doing, really appreciated the show that was put on for on for us.

The Cornish Fair, for some, has become a tradition of clean family fun that fairgoers count on in today’s techno-based entertainment world. It is nice to know that several generations of a family can attend, and there will always be something everyone.

Thank you again to the people like the electrician, who has been there 26 years making sure the wiring is safe. Thank you again to the generations of Grange stand operators, who serve hot chocolate and homemade donuts early in the morning. Thank you again to the volunteers, who make countless runs with golf carts and tractors pulling trailer/shuttles. Thank you again to the volunteers, who prepare the fair grounds for the show weeks before the first camper or cow appears. And thank you again, to all who help make three days in August something to forward to again the next year.
