CLAREMONT — Claremont MakerSpace has announced the kick-off of the Claremont MakerSpace Artist In Residence Program. This program is supported in part by the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, and is designed help regional artists create new, innovative and exciting work with the help of the CMS’s myriad resources, according to a newsletter from CMS.
The first residency will start on Oct. 1 and will run for two months. Individuals selected for the CMS Artist In Residence program will receive two months of unlimited membership to the CMS, a 10-by-10 foot studio space at the CMS for the duration of the residency, $600 towards the creation of new work at the CMS, and a stipend towards tool training and certification classes at the CMS.
All mediums and levels of experience are welcome to apply. To apply for the CMS Artist In Residence program, fill out the application available through the MakerSpace website, at claremontmakerspace.org/special-programs.
Applications for the October–November residency must be submitted by midnight on Sept. 16.
Only individuals based in New Hampshire may be selected for this Artist In Residence program.
