SAXTONS RIVER, Vt. — Main Street Arts Artistic Director David Stern will offer an acting workshop from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 28
Everyone is welcome, from beginner to professional. What underlies believable acting, and how can we get there? The class will explore what happens in the mind and body of the performer at work, and how to best reveal a rich, complex character portrayal.
Some attention will be given to blocking and specific action choice; actor focus, and risk and release. This sounds technical and advanced but it’s not, according to organizers. The class will be fun and challenging, working in pairs on short scenes.
Cost for the workshop will be $60.
