ACWORTH — All are welcome to join the Acworth Memorial Park Committee for a day of browsing, shopping and food at the Fall Foliage Antiques, Collectibles and Household Goods Sale. The event, scheduled for 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, rain or shine, on the Acworth Town Green, will raise money for the Acworth Veteran’s Memorial.
Visitors are welcome to browse antiques, collectibles and other valuable sale items, and to enjoy food and drinks from several vendors.
The committee is looking for donations and vendors for this event. Fall is a great time to clean out closets a cabinets, and organizers ask that the public consider donating unwanted goods to the cause (no electronics, appliances or clothing).
Donations of sale items can be dropped off on Thursday, Sept. 27 and Friday, Sept. 28, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. or by appointment. To coordinate a donation, contact Maureen at (603) 863-8168 or Jen at (603) 835-2130.
Mary Hildreth (603) 835-2669 and Carole Wallace (603) 863-7739 are co-chairs for this event and can also be reached for questions and donation coordination.
For anyone who would rather make some money selling their own goods, booths are available for $10 each for the day. Contact Carole or Mary for booth rental. Booths can be set up Friday afternoon or Saturday prior to 7:30 a.m.
Proceeds will benefit the Acworth Memorial Park, an area that will honor Acworth’s veterans. This is a non-for-profit project.
