ROCKINGHAM, Vt. — Three individuals have been arrested in Rockingham, following an incident at a home on Missing Link Road.
The Vermont State Police (VSP) Westminster Barracks responded at 6:23 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 to a what they described as a “family fight” on Missing Link Road in the town of Rockingham. During the investigation it was determined by police that Jillian Taylor, 34, of Rockingham, Vermont had allegedly assaulted a family member at her place of residence, according to the VSP.
Also present at the residence was Taylor’s mother, Carol Hampshire, 60, of Grafton, Vermont, and stepfather, James Hampshire, 59, also of Grafton, police said.
Police determined that James and Carol Hampshire had driven to the residence in separate vehicles and were both allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time. James Hampshire had also allegedly made threats towards another person, all according to a VSP press release.
The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
Taylor was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and turned over to Vermont Probation and Parole, which transported her to Southern State Correctional Facility for a probation violation. Carol Hampshire was arrested for alleged DUI #1. James Hampshire was arrested for alleged DUI #1 and criminal threatening, all according to police.
Taylor was due in Windham County Superior Court at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31. James and Carol Hampshire are scheduled to appear in Windham County Court at 8 a.m. Sept. 18.
