CORNISH — A series of pancake breakfasts at the Masonic Lodge in Cornish will help raise funds to cover costs associated with having a Grand Master.
A member of the local Masonic Lodge in Cornish is now in the Grand Officer Line and will become the Grand Master of Masons in New Hampshire, according to the Cornish Connects community newsletter.
Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30 and Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28 at the lodge at 36 School St. in Cornish Flat.
“There’s a lot costs for the Lodge associated with having a Grand Master. In order to help offset those costs Cheshire-Mt Vernon Lodge #23, Free & Accepted Masons will be hosting a breakfast every Sunday during the months of September and October,” organizers said in the newsletter.
The price for breakfast will be by donation, and the menu will include pancakes, eggs (fried, scrambled, simple omelets), sausage, bacon, toast, pastries, coffee, tea and juice.
