Craig A. Corliss Sr.

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Craig A. Corliss Sr., 71, passed away Sept. 5, 2018 at Valley Regional Hospital, Claremont.

He was born July 3, 1947 in Hardwick, Vermont, the son of Leroy and Vera (Fleming) Corliss. He attended Springfield Schools. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy in Vietnam, U.S. Navy Seabees and Vermont Army National Guard. On July 20, 1969 he married Ruth A. Lovell in Springfield, Vermont.

He was employed as a supervisor with Windsor Minerals for 22 years and Country Kitchen in Brattleboro, Vermont for nine years.

He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of Springfield, Vermont, two sons, Craig A. Corliss Jr. of Lyme, and Kenneth M. Corliss of Springfield, Vermont; six siblings, Gene Corliss, Linda Heath of Springfield, Vermont, Ronald Corliss of Baltimore, Vermont, Brian Corliss of Reading, Vermont, Wendy Corliss of N. Springfield, Vermont, and Sandy Robinson of Claremont; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Daylynn, and Nya; aunts and uncles; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers Wayne Corliss and Chris Corliss.

Per his request there will be no funeral services.
