Hotel and convention center in Argentina chooses locally-made décor

NORTH WALPOLE — For the recent renovation of its “Los Alamos” and “Los Girasoles” rooms, the Sheraton Pilar hotel and convention center in Buenos Aires, Argentina, once again relied on El Espartano and chose a rug from the Magna line, woven in Axminster loom, and as a novelty, our innovative Len-Tex wall coverings were placed.

The rugs woven in our Axminster looms are ideal for very busy spaces because they use a construction system that ensures durability in its original state, combining the elegance of the wool with the strength of nylon. In turn, this loom offers great flexibility in terms of the complexity of the design and number of colors, allowing our customers to make complex designs with high precision and high definition.

In addition, this was the first project to use for its walls the novel products of the Len-Tex brand, marketed in Argentina exclusively by El Espartano. The hotel chose for this project the Pilot color of the Colton collection, a monochrome design that highlights metallic brushstrokes in a darker tone on a matte background, providing texture and accompanying the protagonist design of the carpet.

Len-Tex wall coverings are made with Clean Vinyl ™ Technology, CVT, which improves indoor air quality (IAQ) by avoiding dangerous chemicals such as phthalates or heavy metals; its use in commercial projects qualifies for the sum of LEED credits, international recognition that certifies the good industrial use of resources and energy, demonstrating once again the commitment of El Espartano both with the design and with the sustainability of its products.

The hotel and convention center Sheraton Pilar is one of the most important meeting points for events and businesses north of the city of Buenos Aires. Among its facilities, it has large rooms prepared to receive up to 1,800 people, providing a professional experience of great comfort.
