NEW LONDON —Patty McGoldrick, the Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, will leave her position with organization at the end of September.
Nancy Barthol, who has been Patty’s right hand this year, will continue in her position as Member and Visitor Services Manager. She will deliver the same exceptional customer service to which you’ve become accustomed.
To ensure that the Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce continues to support, nurture and promote its member businesses and organizations, and to enhance life for all in the region, the Chamber Directors will take on additional responsibilities, such as recruiting new members.
Additionally, LSRCC committees will be more self-sufficient as they work on events, programs and activities that support the overall mission of the chamber.
Patty was hired in November of 2017 following turnover in both the Executive Director position and in our Board of Directors leadership. Her expertise in aiding non-profits in transition has been most helpful to the Chamber.
Her mission was to guide the Chamber into a position of greater organizational and financial stability. Patty has successfully assessed needs, addressed inadequacies, and proposed plans and priorities for the Chamber.
These plans will be implemented in the strategy of the Chamber moving forward. With Patty’s foundational guidance, the Board will soon set forth goals for 2019, which will include clearer expectations and improved training for staff, and greater financial oversight and stability for the chamber.
The Board of Directors thanks Patty for her excellent and dedicated service to the chamber and wishes her the best for the future.
“While we are sorry to say farewell to Patty, the Board is confident that these changes are consistent with the level of our available resources and that they will enable the continued success of your Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce,” said Chamber President Sarah Christie.
