NEWPORT — On June 28 Kerri Yaqoob, 28, of 59 Centennial Street in Claremont was arrested on the charge of conspiracy to purchase controlled drugs, a felony charge. On the same day, Yaqoob was released on personal recognizance bail subject to appearing in Sullivan County Superior Court on July 12, which she did. Another hearing date, Sept. 5, was set for Yaqoob to appear again in Sullivan County Superior Court. She failed to appear for that hearing. On Sept. 17 the Sullivan County Superior Court issued a warrant for Yaqoob’s arrest for failing to appear.
Yaqoob is a white female, 5-foot-1-inch tall, 110 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
