Grand Jury Indictments handed up at Newport

NEWPORT — The following indictments were handed up by a Sullivan County Superior Court Grand Jury when it convened on Sept. 19:

Nathan A. Berg, 25, 71 Annis Drive, Gilford, N.H., aggravated felonious sexual assault—four counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, domestic violence, two on or about June 30 at Newport, and two between July 1 and July 10 in Newport.

Alan W. Wirkkala, 51, 483 John Stark Highway, Newport, attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault between 1990 and 1991 at Claremont involving a girl who was approximately 12 years old; aggravated felonious sexual assault between 1987 and July of 1991 at Claremont involving a girl between the ages of 8 and 12 year old; aggravated felonious sexual assault between 1987 and 1991 at Claremont involving a girl between 11 and 12 years old; two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault between 1985 and 1987, at Claremont involving a girl between the ages of 5 and 8 years old; two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault between 1990 and 1991 at Claremont involving a girl who was approximately 12 years old; four counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault on or about 1987 at Claremont involving a girl who was approximately 9 years old; two counts of felonious sexual assault on or about the year of 1987 at Claremont involving a girl who was approximately 9 years old; felonious sexual assault between 1985 and 1987 at Claremont involving a girl between the ages of 5 and 8 year old; felonious sexual assault between 1987 and July 1991 at Claremont involving a girl between the ages of 11 and 12; felonious sexual assault between 1990 and 1991 at Claremont involving a girl who was approximately 12-year old, and felonious sexual assault between 1987 and July of 1991 at Claremont involving a girl between the ages of 8 and 12.

Charles J. Hall, 37, 23 Pleasant St., Alstead, three counts of receiving stolen property between or about Jan. 15 and Feb. 15, 2018 at Charlestown; three counts of felon in possession or under his control a .308 Savage firearm, .45 Colt pistol and Remington Rolling Block firearm.

Jewell A. Breed, 34 69 1/2 River St., Springfield, Vt., possession of a controlled drug, Cocaine, Aug. 23 at Charlestown, and bail jumping Sept. 6 at Newport.

Donna Day, 55, 19 Union St., Lebanon, welfare fraud of more than $1,000 between Feb. 16, 2015 and Feb. 28, 2017, obtaining food stamps and cash assistance benefits, to which she was not entitled at Claremont.

Peter Tadros, 35, Barre, welfare fraud between Dec. 1, 2011 and May 31, 2014 at Claremont, obtaining food stamps and medical assistance benefits to which he was not entitled, in excess of $1,000.

William N. Clark, 44, 992 2nd NH Turnpike, Unity, criminal mischief on or about July 16 at the Sullivan County House of Corrections at Unity, in excess of $1,500.

Talyen R. McGuire, 29, 249 Old Claremont Road, Claremont, bail jumping Sept. 11 at Newport.

Heather Rose Deem, 42, Mount Holly, Vt., robbery Aug. 27 in Claremont, and bail jumping Sept. 6 at Newport.

Henry T. Trzesiara, 41, 431 Sunapee St., Newport, second degree assault July 6 at Claremont.

Nieko T. Clow, 25, 120 Connecticut Heights Road, Acworth, criminal mischief, loss in excess of $1,500, Sept. 10 in Acworth.

Howard P. Richards, 53, 40 Central St., Apt. 4, Claremont, two counts of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon June 7 at Claremont; two counts of convicted felons, June 7 in Claremont.

Robert Johnson, 27, 31 High St., Sunapee, bail jumping Feb. 8 at Newport.

Shaun Walsh, 103 County Farm Road, Unity, second degree assault, domestic violence, Aug. 26 in Newport; second degree assault, domestic violence, offense committed while on release, Sept. 2 at Newport; criminal threatening, domestic violence committed while on release, Sept. 2 at Newport; reckless conduct, domestic violence, offense committed while on release, Sept. 2 at Newport.

Peter Davenport, 28, Sheffield, Vt., possession of controlled drug, Cocaine, Aug. 11 at Newport.
