ROCKINGHAM, Vt. — Mary M Lescord, 76, of Darby Hill Road passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018. Mary was born in Springfield, Vermont on March 18, 1942, the daughter of Clyde and Mary (Brassington) Bixby.
She worked for the Town Crier and Ames Department Store. Mary loved going to flea markets, yard sales, and auctions. She also enjoyed poetry, cardinals, flowers, nature, light houses and bears. She especially loved spending time with her family, her grandchildren in particular.
In 1960 she married Richard Lescord who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Allan, Wade, and Brian Lescord; her daughters, Wanda Lescord and Teresa Lescord-Bulger, her brother James Dumas; her sister Denise Dumas-Swartz; and 14 grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents.
There will be a funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Bellows Falls, Vermont.
