Don’t believe the smear

To the editor,

You know that a candidate for office has worn out his/her welcome when the best they have to offer are robo-attacks on their opponent. Specifically Ruth Ward, who hides behind a faceless Republican Senate Committee to smear Jenn Alford-Teaster. I refuse to dignify the false charges except to point out that they are very long on expensive production and extremely short on facts.

I have spoken in depth with Jenn and have come away with strong and lasting impressions. She brings a level of energy and focus to every task, and they will distinguish District 8 in the New Hampshire Senate. She is first and foremost a problem solver and will talk with anybody, listen to anybody and work with anybody of any party who prefers solutions to political posturing.

From her childhood in less than affluent circumstances to her education and professional work in public health to the job she values most, wife and mother, Jenn is a model of determination never losing her focus on human needs.

Don’t believe the paste-up attacks. Look at who the real Jenn is. Read her biography and campaign information. Most importantly, make sure to vote on Nov. 6, and give New Hampshire District 8 a senator to be proud of — Jenn Alford-Teaster.
