DRAFT HORSEPOWER
Draft Power in the Lincoln Woods, a talk and slide show about using draft horsepower on the farm, will be presented by Ed Thayer of East Washington, N.H. The program will be held at Lempster’s History Hall, corner of Route 10 and 2nd NH Turnpike and begins at 7 p.m. The discussion is centered around the work of two Belgian draft horses, Ozzie and Tucker, and their part in the farming chores from spreading manure to gardening and logging operations.
