SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — On Oct. 23, 2018, detectives with the Vermont State Police, charged Mark E. Kriskov, 56, an inmate at the Southern State Correctional Facility, in Springfield, Vermont, with assaulting three correctional officers. The officers were not seriously injured. During the incident on Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m, Kriskov intentionally damaged property that belonged to the facility. Kriskov was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on Dec. 18 at 8 a.m. to answer to the charge.
