MANCHESTER — Saint Anselm College has released the list of graduates for the 2017-2018 school year. During Saint Anselm College’s 125th commencement exercises honorary degree recipient and speaker Cardinal Sean Patrick O’Malley, O.F.M. Cap., addressed 474 members of the class of 2018 encouraging graduates to live a purposeful life of faith in order to find success and fulfillment. O’Malley is cardinal of the Catholic Church serving as the Archbishop of Boston. In 2017 Pope Francis named O’Malley to serve as a member of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith which is for a five-year renewable term.

“The only real success in life is being able to make a gift of ourselves. This is the success that we wish for all of our graduates” said O’Malley. “And today, as you leave this place with something beautiful in your hands make sure that you make your life something beautiful for God.”

Dr. Steven R. DiSalvo, president of Saint Anselm College, congratulated the class of 2018 and reminded them their four years on campus are marked by fond memories and the legacy they leave behind. “When you leave campus later today, you will have turned a page on an amazing chapter in your life, and will continue to write your story in new places among new people. Know that no matter where your journey takes you, you are always welcome here.”
