County GOP condemns mailed pipe bombs

SULLIVAN COUNTY — Margaret Drye of Plainfield, candidate for the New Hampshire floterial senate district for much of Sullivan County, issued the following statement in response to the pipe bombs that have been sent to the homes and businesses of prominent Democratic politicians and supporters. She spoke on behalf of the Sullivan County Republican Party. “The Sullivan County GOP strongly condemns recent attempts at violence against prominent politicians and others.

“This is unacceptable behavior in a free society. We support all efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“Acts of violence are not a form of free speech. The SCGOP embraces the right of all to express their political views without the fear of violence.”
