WESTMINSTER, Vt. — Savings Bank of Walpole is pleased to announce that Mark Bodin, president of Savings Bank of Walpole, has been elected by Kurn Hattin’s Executive Committee to serve a one-year term as president of the board of trustees for the non-profit. Bodin, who is a longtime supporter of Kurn Hattin and Kurn Hattin Homes for Children, has served as a board member for the past year.
Located in Westminster, Vermont, Kurn Hattin is a vital community organization, committed to helping at-risk children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Bodin as well as Savings Bank of Walpole have supported Kurn Hattin Homes for many years and in 2015 began to fund the Adopt-a-Cottage program, sponsoring the Parent Cottage which houses up to 10 first-fourth grade boys.
“I am very pleased and honored to have been elected by Kurn Hattin’s Executive Committee to serve as president of the board,” said Bodin. “With all they do, Kurn Hattin helps makes a big difference in our community and in the lives of many children. I look forward to working with fellow committee members to further build upon all the terrific programs and initiatives already in place.”
