With daylight savings fast approaching on Nov. 4, the City of Claremont Fire Department fire officers and firefighters would like to remind residents that it’s a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. Smoke and CO alarms are your first line of defense when the unfortunate event of a fire or any CO incident occurs. Seconds count when you and your family’s life depend on those devices.
If you need assistance with battery replacement, please contact fire department headquarters at 542-5156 and we will provide help in the replacement of your battery(or batteries).
