NEWPORT — On July 25 the Sullivan County Grand Jury indicted Handy on the charge of possession of the controlled drug buprenorphine, a Class A felony.
Handy failed to appear for arraignment in Sullivan County Superior Court on both Aug. 10 and Oct. 12. As a result of her failure to appear the Sullivan County Superior Court issued a warrant for Handy’s arrest on Oct. 12.
Handy, 28, is a white female, 5-foot-1-inch tall, 110 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. Her last known address is 125 Laurel Street in Newport.
