King David Stephenson Jr.

CLAREMONT — King David Stephenson Jr., born March 3, 1959 in Manhattan, New York and resided in Claremont, passed peacefully on Oct. 23, 2018. He was 59 years old.

King loved to sing and won many awards for karaoke. He loved people and always had a kind word. King was a painter by trade and had his own business for 43 years. King was an outdoors person, he loved mountain climbing and spending time with his family and friends.

King is predeceased by his father, King David Stephenson Sr., his mother, Ana Sue Outlaw Stephenson, and a brother, Robert Hariell Outlaw.

He is survived by two daughters, Nicole and Monique Stephenson; two sisters, Laura Stephenson Edwards of North Carolina and Sarah Stephenson Chestnut of New York; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

King’s fiancé, Lisa Meyette, will be holding a celebration of life for King in the near future. Anyone wishing to attend should contact her for details.
