To the Editor:
I am writing in enthusiastic support of Gates Lucas, candidate for State Representative, Sullivan District 2 – Sunapee and Croydon.
As his dad, I can honestly say that not only have I known Gates for all his life but that he has also earned my deep respect as a hard-working, diligent young man who is concerned about the future of our community and dedicated to making a positive difference.
Gates grew up in the Sunapee area, studied government at Dartmouth College and is currently a financial analyst at Liberty Mutual.
As a lifelong member of our Sunapee community, I know that Gates cares deeply about the values that make our area such a great place to live, work and raise a family.
It’s also refreshing to see a member of the younger generation step up and make a commitment to serve. We need the kind of energy and enthusiasm that Gates will bring to this important job.
Please join me in supporting Gates Lucas as our State Representative on November 6th.
