NEWPORT — Dancing with the Stars will be returning to the Newport Opera House for performances at 7 p.m. on Jan. 25 and 26.
There will be two groups this year, the Junior Teams and the Adult Teams. The young Juniors will field four teams while the veteran Adults will have six.
Tickets will cost $25 for premiere seats; $20 for the general sections and $15 for students. They are on sale at the Petal Patch on Main Street in Newport or at the Newport Opera House.
The Junior first-timers will be Caleb Palmer, Gavin Lovely, Selena Coronis and Megan Howard. Their veteran partners will be Lindsay Patten, Isiah Stevens, Jazzy Durgin and Mason Martell.
The Junior participants include Caleb Palmer, a junior at Newport High School, and Gavin Lovely, Selena Coronis and Megan Howard, all seniors at Newport High School.
