NEWPORT — The Richards School PTO is excited to announce the Warm and Fuzzy Holiday Feeling PJ and book drive!
It is asking families to donate new pairs of pajamas for Newport School District students in need.
Donations are needed for boys and girls in ALL sizes (infant to adult).
For each pair of pajamas donated, the PTO will add a book to the donation so each child can have a Warm and Fuzzy Holiday Feeling this season. These PJ and book gifts will be donated to the families in the Willey-Perra organization.
Unwrapped pajama donations need to be turned in to classroom teachers by Friday, Nov. 30, 2018.
Any questions, please call Richards School at 863-3710.
Thank you for helping make a student’s holiday warm and fuzzy this season!
The Willey-Perra Community Giving Program
The program is named for James Willey and Anne Perra. The Willey-Perra families have a long history of generosity to our community. They have provided gifts to families in need during the holiday season since 1981.
The Willey-Perra program provides everyone with an opportunity to give to families in need for the holidays. The program receives generous donations from across the community.
The program serves nearly 320 families who attend the Newport School District by providing clothes and toys as gifts for those families who need additional support so that their children have a happy holiday.
