NEWPORT — At the Sullivan County Superior Court held at Newport within and for the County of Sullivan the Grand Jurors for the State of New Hampshire upon their oath present that:
Heather Deem
On Aug. 27, Heather Deem, 41, of 137 Shunpike Road in Mount Holly, Vermont agreed with Jennifer Graham to the attempt a robbery. Graham drove to the Market Basket supermarket parking lot in Claremont with Deem as a passenger. The two women selected a person to rob and grabbed the woman’s purse forcefully. Deem ran back to the car driven by Graham and they exited the lot by driving over a grass island separating the lot from Washington Street and left the area quickly.
If convicted, Deem faces a penalty of 3½ to 7 years in New Hampshire State Prison and a $4,000 fine.
Willem Wonsang
On Sept. 8 Willem Wonsang, 44, of 932 Valley Street in Manchester, in concert with Lenny Alvarez and Tiffany Dyer, traveled to 174 Jewett Road in Langdon, went over a gate, told a neighbor to return to her house and threatened the person with harm. Wonsang and Alvarez entered a camper at at night in order to burglarize the home. During the burglary Wonsang caused bodily harm to the owner of the camper and is also charged with assault with a deadly weapon; he hit the owner with a shovel and threatened to kill him.
If convicted, Wonsang faces a penalty of 7 ½ to 15 years in New Hampshire State Prison and a $4,000 fine for each of the above offenses.
Lenny Alvarez
On Sept. 8 Lenny Alvarez, 41, of 932 Valley Street in Manchester, in concert with Willem Wonsang and Tiffany Dyer, traveled to 174 Jewett Road in Langdon intending to commit a burglary. Alvarez assaulted the owner of a camper at that address and seriously injured him, fracturing bones in his face and nose and hitting in the head and upper body. Alvarez is charged with conspiring with Dyer and Wonsang to commit the burglary in Langdon.
Tiffany Dyer
On Sept. 8 Tiffany Dyer, 39, of 329 Myrtle Street in Manchester, in concert with Willem Wonsang and Lenny Alvarez, burglarized a camper at 174 Jewett Road in Langdon. Dyer is charged with urging both Alvarez and Wonsang to kill the owner of the camper. Dyer is charged with conspiring with Wonsang and Alvarez to travel to Langdon to commit the burglary.
If convicted, Dyer faces a penalty of 7 ½ to 15 years in New Hampshire State Prison and a $4,000 fine for each of the above fences.
James Rowe
On July 24, James Rowe, 46, of Charlestown Road in Springfield, Vermont has been indicted for selling a quantity of Oxycodone, a Schedule II controlled drug, to an individual in Morways Motor Home Park in Charlestown. Rowe is further indicted for conspiring with the same individual to sell a quantity of Percocet pills. This person communicated that information to someone cooperating with the New Hampshire Drug Task Force. That person traveled to Morways Motor Home Park and purchased the pills, supplied by Rowe, from Rowe’s conspirator.
If convicted, Rowe faces a penalty of 3½ to 7 years in New Hampshire State Prison and a $100,000 fine for each of the above offenses.
Douglas R. Reed
On April 20 Douglas R. Reed, 48, of 2370 Baltimore Road, Baltimore, Vermont is charged with knowingly misrepresenting the amount of board feet of timber that had been cut and including those figures in a Report of Wood and Timber Cut.
On Aug. 31 Reed, in the course of buying and selling a forest product, recklessly failed to pay the owner of the timber for the value agreed upon in a written contract. The loss was more $1,000.
If convicted, Reed faces a penalty of 3 ½ to 7 years in New Hampshire State Prison and a $4,000 fine for both of the above offenses.
Alan W. Wirkkala
On or between Aug. 1 and Oct. 1, 2012, Alan W. Wirkkala, 51, of 483 John Stark Highway in Newport has been indicted for sexually assaulting a person between the ages of 13 and 16. Wirkkala is further indicted with aggravated sexual assault because his victim indicated by speech and conduct that no consent was being given to perform a sexual act.
If convicted, Wirkkala faces a penalty 3 ½ to 7 years in New Hampshire State Prison a $4,000 fine for the first offense and 10 to 20 years and a $4,000 fine for the second.
