LUDLOW, Vt. — On Nov. 24 at 12:11 a.m. on Preedom Hill Road in Ludlow, the Vermont State Police stopped a 2003 Volkswagen Bug with Vermont registration PEACEVT for a defective equipment violation. After an investigation, it was determined that the operator, Wendy Reed, 48, of Ludlow was operating under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and transported to the Ludlow Police Department for fingerprints and photographs. She was released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on Dec. 11 at 8 a.m.
