John F. Davidson

CHARLESTOWN – John F. Davidson, 83, of Ponderosa Park passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 at the Jack Byrne Center. John was born in Bellows Falls, Vermont on April 3, 1935, the son of George and Helen (Troy) Davidson. He attended schools in Bellows Falls and served 10 years in the US Air Force. He worked for White Light Metal, Whitney Blake, and retired from Chamberlin Machine. He was a member of the Charlestown Senior Center, the VFW in Springfield, Vermont, and the American Legion Post 37 where he was a past Post Commander.

In 1963 he married Jean Center Hale who predeceased him. Surviving is his son Gary M Davidson of Browns Mills, New Jersey and his daughter Cindy Brown of West Unity; his sister Louise Woodward of Gageville, Vermont; his grandchildren Asia and Egypt Davidson and Kristopher Trela; and great grandchildren Violet and Azelea’ Miravey. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother George Davidson, Jr.

There will be calling hours 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 with service beginning at 2 p.m., all at Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Burial will follow the service in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Bellows Falls, Vermont.
