Opinion

Jesus on display

To the editor,

A while ago there was an article in your paper called “Keep Church and State separate.” Needless to say, my remarks are written directly to Sam Killay who wrote the article: “When you speak, your words are like mist on the flowers in summer in the morning. They will vanish as the dew. There are many opinions out there about spiritual things. Some people’s opinions such as yours can be warped. Did you not know that what you say makes me feel sad because I have had a wonderful relationship with Jesus since March 9, 1964? It is a spiritual walk that is not of the flesh. It is a different dimension. It is above religion, churchianity, etc.

“Why do you resent someone else having a baby Jesus on display. Why does it bother you so much? You mention the atheist’s rights and the Muslim’s rights, what about those like me who have every right to do likewise and show others who is in our heart, soul and mind? Have you ever seen a miracle? I have. I had a slight curvature of the spine and when a man from India prayed for me, my left leg grew out in front of me. The Lord said, ‘Seek me and ye shall find me.’ He loves all, Muslims, atheists, Buddhists and all of the rest, he created us all. He is love and we need that.

“You cannot separate God, I grew up in a wonderful time before all this hatred and jealousy. God is in everything, he gives you the breath you breathe every day. He is able to sort it all out. You need to find that perfect peace that passeth understanding. Then you wouldn’t worry about a little baby lying in a manger that can do none of us any harm.”

Watch my program on TV called “The Rhema Word.” You can find if on Facebook, Fact TV in Bellows Falls, Vt. God bless you and give you the peace only he can give.
