Puppies and art at the Springfield Town Library

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Feeling stressed by the cold or the holidays? Join us at the Springfield Town Library on Wednesdays, Dec. 12 and 19 at 10:30 a.m. for two fun programs aimed at reducing stress. Wednesday, December 12, we’ll have puppies to pet and on Wednesday, December 19th, a fun de-stressing craft.

Inspired by our recent Springfield Humane Society display, library staffer Tracy Obrenski contacted Cathy Sullivan from Lost My Way Animal Shelter in Claremont about having puppies visit the library. So on Dec. 12, Sullivan will bring three very social puppies for patrons of all ages to enjoy.

Don’t like puppies, how about art? The following Wednesday, Mona Frye from The Art Gym will be here with a fun craft.

Our programs are free, open to the public, and accessible to people with disabilities. The Springfield Town Library is located at 43 Main Street, Springfield Vermont. For more information, please contact 802-885-3108 [email protected].
