ALSTEAD — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announced work is underway to replace the NH Route 123A bridge over Warren Brook in Alstead. This project is located just beyond the intersection of NH 123 and NH 123A. The work will involve removal of the existing bridge and construction of the new bridge, one half at a time, while maintaining one lane of alternating traffic. Temporary traffic signals will control the flow of traffic through the site for the project duration, which is expected to be completed in October 2019.
Cold River Bridges, LLC of Walpole is the contractor for the $1.1 million project.
