BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. —BFUHS and the Elks are proud to announce that Jasmine Boucher has been named the November Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Jasmine, a senior, is the daughter of Rick and Jennifer Boucher of Bellows Falls, Vermont.
Dedicated to learning, Jasmine works hard in her classes. She puts in the extra time to develop her skills, to analyze concepts and to make sure she understands what is being covered in class discussions. A member of the Marilee Huntoon, Jesse A. Judd chapter of the National Honor Society, Jasmine is a good role model who leads by example. She was also recently named the 2018 Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen for BFUHS.
Always courteous and genuinely kind to her peers, Jasmine is a pleasure to work with. She is attentive to helping others and is often the first to offer assistance when she sees a need. She is active in class discussions and activities, demonstrates a very professional demeanor, and is someone people can rely on. Responsible, involved, compassionate and attentive are words to describe this young woman.
Not only dedicated to her academics, Jasmine is also an active participant in the sports program at BFUHS. Jasmine has the respect and appreciation of her teachers, classmates, teammates and coaches for her constant hard work, enthusiasm and leadership; she is always positive and ready to go in class and at practices and meets. She is dependable, punctual, and committed to hard work. Jasmine brings a positive attitude and is always prepared which is evident by her academic accomplishments and multiple state championships in cross country and track. Because of her commitment and hard work, she has been chosen to represent the BFUHS track team as captain for the spring season.
Interested in improving her community, Jasmine has willingly participated in a variety of community service activities including an art camp counselor, concession worker at school sporting events, tour guide for incoming ninth graders and track meet and field hockey helper. Through these activities, she has served as a positive role model and representative of BFUHS and its community.
Congratulations go to Jasmine. The Elks and BFUHS are honored to have her represent us this month with this award.
