On Dec. 7, LaValley Building Supply’s Newport location suffered a major fire in one of our large storage buildings.
We are beyond thankful that our staff and customers were all safe, and we are profoundly grateful to our local police, emergency workers, and all 10 responding fire departments.
Your dedication and skilled execution of services is nothing short of stellar. Words cannot adequately express our heartfelt appreciation to you all. We thank you.
We also extend our deepest thanks to everyone in our area communities for your caring words and gestures of support and encouragement. Special thanks to United Construction for your on-site assistance, as well as to Pete Fenton and his crew at the Apple Seed Inn for their unsolicited, thoughtfully prepared, and thoroughly delicious nourishment for the large number of response team members.
Buildings can be replaced. Any sense of loss truly pales in comparison to the overwhelming gratitude we feel to live in such a generous and caring community. It is our honor and pleasure to serve you, as always, and in turn.
Sincerely,
Harold and Gerry LaValley, Larry Huot, and Greg Stout,
on behalf of LaValley Building Supply, Newport, N.H.
