SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — The Springfield Church of Christ has cancelled its free community dinner for the month of December since the usual date falls so close to Christmas. The dinners will resume on January 23, 2019 and will fall on each fourth Wednesday through the spring.
The congregation will host these dinners at its building at 972 Chester Road, Springfield. Serving will begin at 6 pm and continue until the food is gone. The doors will open at 5:50 pm.
The Jan. 23 menu will include pot roast, mashed potato with gravy, vegetable, rolls and dessert. Beverages will include lemonade, milk, coffee and tea.
