WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. – Yvette A. White, 49, died peacefully Tuesday evening, Dec. 11, 2018 at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
She was born March 16, 1969 in Rutland , Vermont the daughter of Robert and Janice (Chambers) White. Yvette grew up in Ascutney , Vermont and graduated from Stevens High School. She attended Champlain College in Burlington and later completed her degree in criminal justice from the Community College of Vermont .
She continued her education, taking courses to become a certified phlebotomist.
Yvette enjoyed spending time with her family and friends near the ocean. She absolutely loved the beach.
She was predeceased by her mother and father.
Yvette is survived by her daughter, Bethany A. White of Etna; two sisters, Debra Decoteau of South Royalton, Vermont and Cherie White of Windsor, Vermont; Bruce and Diana Tuthill of Pomfret, Vermont, Sherry White of South Barre,Vermont, Betty Clermont of Berlin, Vermont, Bernard Chambers of North Port, Florida, and family-friend, Alice Forrest of Los Altos, California, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, Vermont. Pastor Joel McPherson officiated.
